Secret Trail

Bill Steer helped me find this secret trail.  This photo is a my clue for finding it again.  Behind the photographer is a large Pine tree--bigger than all the rest.  On the road to one of my all time favourite places.

The Casual Captain

Before take-off, the Captain ran his gloved hand over the leading edge of the wing.  De-icing.

The House

I like this picture even though it is out of balance.  I tried cropping it, but the original view suits me.

My curiosity nearly got the best of me as I drove out onto Lake Nipissing in search of a beautiful shot.  The wheels sunk in.  Sledders circled like sharks.  Back and forth then gun'er in reverse.  Blessed.

Enter the Basin

The camera doesn't quite catch the feeling of coming down this hill.  Returning from up north where there have always been great memories.  This is the view of coming home.  Feels good always.

Security

This is not a beautiful scene, but “Beautiful,” is what I said when I saw the level of security needed to protect a display of books for sale at Nipissing University.  The sellers simply pulled a tarp over their wares at the end of the day.  Nip U, a great place to learn—friendly too.

The Point

Sturdy picnic tables on the scenic point at the Yacht Club are tilted to shed the snow and sit out the winter.  They caught my eye.
